Maharashtra Amateur Boxing Association (MABA), founded in erstwhile Bombay in 1925 as 'Bombay Presidency Amateur Boxing Association', is the oldest Boxing Association in India. The boxing fraternity of Maharashtra has produced many Boxing Champions who have brought laurels for our country at Asian, Commonwealth & other world events.

We are also very proud to have many Olympians, Asian Champions, Arjuna & Shivchhatrapati Awardees who've kept Maharashtra in the top rung of the national & international Boxing. Mumbai also happily boasts of having successfully organised prestigious events such as the World Cup, Asian Championships & many other regular International Events… thus keeping India's flag flying at the international arena!!
